'Special visitors' teach fire prevention

The Bancroft-Rosalie kindergarten class had some special visitors recently during Fire Prevention Week.

The firefighters from the Bancroft Volunteer Fire Department came to visit the elementary and talk about fire safety. The students got to see the equipment worn and carried by firefighters and were also given a goody bag with color sheets, pencils and a treat.

A Dalmatian accompanied the firefighters to the school.
