The students in Mrs. Wangler’s first grade class got all cozy and comfy last week.

The group chose to wear pajamas to school after meeting a goal in math. Each time a student gets a 90 percent or better on their independent work, they get to sign the thermometer chair.

“If we reach our goals, we get to celebrate,” Mrs. Wangler said. “The thermometer chart is a great motivator for students to take their time and do careful work.”
