Students enjoy digital learning

Bancroft-Rosalie students recently participated in Digital Learning Day even though they use some type of digital learning almost every day. Teachers made a special effort to include digital learning in their classroom activities on Feb. 22.

Elementary students use Xtra Math and IXL programs daily for skills practice. The Discovery Education Techbook is used for science in grades two through six, and Discovery Education streaming resources are used to enhance many other subjects.

B-R elementary students participated in completing assignments for two E-Days earlier this year when we didn’t have school due to snow. Because every K-6 student has an iPad, individual teachers are able to use many different digital programs to support or enhance instruction. Special activities in Mrs. Zwygart’s room included completing the new practice tests available to use for state tests. The group also watched a short video that corresponded with their last reading story.

Digital learning is something B-R students are used to and enjoy!
