I am the Director of Elementary for Bancroft-Rosalie Community School. Prior to this, I was the Reading Coach for the elementary. I also taught 5th grade and 2nd grade. I am a Bancroft-Rosalie native. I grew up here and graduated from B-R in 1988. I graduated from Midland Lutheran College in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Then in 2009, I received my Masters in Education in the area of Reading from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I am married to Brad Vogt. He is the Assistant Athletic Director at Omaha Nation School and also teaches physical education and coaches several sports. We have three children. The oldest, Katie, is a hair stylist. She lives and works in a salon in Lincoln. The second daughter, Allie, is married to Carsten Tietz. She is the 4 year old preschool teacher at B-R. They have a little girl named Noah Evelyn. Lucas, our youngest, is a student at Wayne State College majoring in Agri Business. Our whole family enjoys sporting events of all sorts. Most of our evenings are spent either supporting the Panthers or watching ESPN!! I should add that we are huge Husker and Pittsburgh Steelers fans!!!
