Jobs give seniors sneak peek into future

In the future, you may see them on TV, you may hear them on the radio, they might treat you at the doctor's office or you might read one of their articles in the newspaper.

Whatever it may be, the ambitions of this year's senior class at Bancroft-Rosalie are lofty.

To help them get a glimpse of that future, 15 seniors got to job shadow a person currently working in their interested profession.

The following are the students and the businesses they visited recently: Mario Aldrich, WinnaVegas Casino in Sloan, Iowa (casino manager); Allysa Bonneau, Stangel Pharmacy in Onawa, Iowa (pharmacist); Chase Bonsall, Midwest Steel Works in Lincoln (mechanical engineer); Kassi Browning, Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership in Pender (social worker); Austin Bruning, KCAU-TV in Sioux City (TV broadcaster); Hannah Flock, Pender Community Hospital (occupational therapist); Cameron Freemont, Carl T. Curtiss in Macy; KaTesha Henderson, Pender Community Hospital (surgical tech); Kassie Phillips, Wayne Herald in Wayne (print journalist & entrepreneaur); Joe Pierce, KTIC Radio in West Point (radio broadcaster); Ashten Reil, Family Dental Center in West Point (dental hygenist); Dayne Wortman, Midland University in Fremont (athletic trainer), and Lauren Zuhlke, Dakota County Courthouse (attorney).
