Bancroft-Rosalie takes home 7 medals at Nebraska Skills USA
Launch the media gallery 1 playerLucas Engel and Kayl Gomez took 1st place in TV/Video Production. Angel Logemann took home the gold in Medical Terminology. The Health Knowledge Bowl team also took the gold back to BR (members include Avin Dean, Alix Nolting, Angel Logemann, and Kailey Raasch).
Not only did BR take home gold, we also took home 3 silver medals and 1 bronze. Landon Buck placed 2nd in Technical Drafting. Meanwhile, Baxter Beutler just missed gold but placed 2nd in Automotive Service Technician. Along with Landon and Baxter, Kyra Bargmann earned another silver medal, placing 2nd in Early Childhood Education. Kailey Raasch brought home the only bronze medal, competing in Medical math.
All contestant scored placed in the top 10 of their competition. Logan Kramer placed 6th in Architectural Drafting, Alix Nolting was 4th in Early Childhood Education and Jackson Cooney got 5th place in Heavy Machinery Operation. Finishing in 9th place for Photography, was Avin Dean. Photography, Heavy Machinery Operation, and TV/Video Production were all new events for the Bancroft-Rosalie SkillsUSA team.
While visiting with contestant Landon Buck, he stated, “ It was a very fun and exciting experience all around. All of our competitors gave it all and enjoyed their time in Grand Island for Nebraska SkillsUSA”.
