The Spanish I class took a journey to Mexico City to see some fantastic sites. They saw firsthand the Aztec pyramids at Teotihuacan and the floating gardens of Xochimilco.

When did this happen without anyone hearing about it? During class! They took a virtual tour through Google Expedition.

This is a new and exciting app that allows students to use their electronic devices to do 3D tours of different regions of the world. The teacher acts as the tour guide giving them direction and information while the students can see the sites as they are being discussed. This is a huge advantage when doing culture units because now they can actually see the locations being discussed as if they are there.
