Get ready for homecoming

Homecoming activities here at Bancroft-Rosalie have been planned and will begin on Monday.

This year's theme is "Barefoot Blue Jean Night."

Monday is Generation Day (dress up like an adult, senior citizen, kid or baby), Tuesday is Gender Day (girls dress like boys & boys dress like girls), Wednesday is Class Color Day, Thursday is Mathlete vs. Athlete (dress like a nerd or jock) and Friday is Spirit Day (wear BRLD colors). Class colors are as follows: seniors black, juniors baby blue, sophomores orange, freshmen green, 8th grade red, 7th grade yellow, 6th grade orange, 5th grade green, 4th grade purple, 3rd grade pink, 2nd grade white, 1st grade blue, kindergarten black and preschool red.

First round of voting for this year's king and queen and attendants will be Monday morning, and final voting for the king and queen is Wednesday morning.

The annual community pep rally will be held at the football field starting with free hamburgers and beverages served at 6 p.m. The pep rally begins at 7 p.m., and coronation of the royalty and announcement of attendants will be held at the pep rally.

The BRLD Wolverines will face off against Tekamah-Herman at Bancroft Friday night, with kick-off at 7 p.m.

The homecoming dance is Saturday from 9 p.m.-12 a.m., with doors being locked at 9 p.m. Pictures are from 8-9:30 p.m. Dates must be signed up in the office by Friday. Admission is $5 for students and $8 for couples.
