Nothing Sweeter than New Cheerleaders

Ten new cheerleaders were announced as part of the 2024-2025 school year. Last week on Apr 16, 2024, B-R Cheerleading Sponsor Becca Schmeckpepper hosted tryouts for the new year. They had one week of training and judging on Saturday to learn all of the material and perform in front of 3 judges at the B-R School. The new members include Layla Saunsoci, Tayla Anderson, Bianca Freemont, Jaya Snyder, Aaliyah Soll, Deanna Thomsen, Khloe WhiteEyes, Ella Carpenter, Peyton Engel, and Cambria Taylor.
The girls were judged as a team on execution, technique, timing, entrance, and exit, while also being judged as individuals with the same criteria. The B-R Cheerleading squad has also started selling Little Caesars Pizza as part of this year's fundraiser. They will continue to sell until May 13.
