Name: Danelle Purvis-Swanson 

Miss.Danelle is one of our amazing paraprofessionals here at BR. 

How many years have you been teaching here?: 

 Just short of a year. I started in January of 2022 as a sub para then became a full time para for the elementary this August 2022. 

What is your favorite thing about B-R?: 

All the kids I get to see day to day and the staff/co workers I have been able to have the privilege to work with and learn from. 

Who is your favorite superhero? 

The Hulk 

What is your favorite food? 

My favorites are mangoes and grilled chicken. 

What's your favorite place to visit? 

Honestly anywhere but Nebraska and Iowa...I've lived half my life in Nebraska and then the other half in Iowa so I prefer to travel other places outside these states. 

Why do you love what you do?: 

I love what I do because I'm able to try and be a positive influence in the lives of the kids I am with each day. 

Random fact about yourself: 

I have vitiligo on my face. If you ever see me without eye make up you'd probably double take because my eyelashes are half white/half black and I was born in Hawaii.
