This weeks spotlight is MRS.GOEKEN.

Let’s take some time to get to know Mrs.Goken better. 

How many years have you been teaching here?: 

I've been teaching here since 2011-2012, 11 years!

What is your favorite thing about B-R?: 

The relationships among the teachers and between the teachers and kids.  We all support each other and help each other when needed, I don't have to go far if I need anything.

What is your favorite food ?

My favorite food is sushi and Mexican, but not together

Who is your favorite superhero?  

Thor because he's strong, can fly, and has amazing hair 

What's your favorite place to visit? 

Costa Rica.  Such a fun culture and people, and scenery was amazing!

Why do you love what you do?: 

 I love that I get to have the kids one-on-one and build relationships that way.  I love getting to give them that extra attention and also love helping them become more confident!

Random fact about yourself: 

My favorite place to be is on the water and I read every night.
