The spelling bee was held in West Point on February 9, 2011. Students who were able to go were 4th graders to 8th graders. The 4 grader Jackson B. made it to second round, others who attended were Cydnee B., Devon D., Couy F., Paige P., Zoe S. The 5th graders were Tiahna B., Zachary B. made second round , Anna C. made second round , Michael S. , Randy W. , Jacob Z. The 6th grade was Kylee C. , Amber E. , Kennady G. made second round and oral round , Justice J. made second round, Tess N. made second round, Kobe S. also made second round The 7th grade Kassidi B. , Hannah F. , Vanessa M. , Joe P. , Ashten R. , Lauren Z. The 8th grade was Kylita G. , Ian N. , Suzanne R. , Dylan S. , Jaeliesa S. , Brianna W. When Kennady G. made oral round she and missed the word solicit and tied for 3rd. Mrs. Elsasser had the elementary students and Mr. Grinvalds had the 7th and 8th grade students. Congratulations to the 4-8 how made it through the spelling bee.
