Launch the media gallery 1 playerMen & Women in Song is a great opportunity held at Morningside College for high school for students in small choirs, such as the one we have here at Bancroft-Rosalie, to be able to experience performing in a big choir. On Thursday, October 29, 2009 a couple high school choir students here at Bancroft-Rosalie, Raymond C., Megan B., Holly M., Jennifer M., Clarissah W. took up this opportunity. At Men & Women and Song students have certain songs they have to learn, which they practice throughout the whole day. Then later that evening they have a concert and perform what they have learned. The selections for the girls this year were Still I Rise, Crossing the Bar, and Of Creation. The selections for the guys this year were My Anchor Holds, Tell My Father, and You’ll Never Walk Alone. The guys and girls also performed a song together; this song was called God’s Gonna Set This World on Fire.
