After a long couple of weeks off due to weather, the Bancroft-Rosalie Cross Country team was back in action in West Point for the East Husker Conference Meet!

The athletes have put in a TON of hard work over the past couple of weeks, and it really paid off today! We had three medalists and several outstanding performances across the team!

Hayden placed 7th and broke his own school record!

Barrett placed 10th!

Aubry placed 12th!

Hayden, Aubry, Thomas, and Lucas all ran new PRs today, and several other runners recorded their best times of the season!

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and determination this group continues to show week in and week out. With only one more meet guaranteed, we're ready to give it everything we've got, leave it all out on the course, and see what this team can accomplish!

Head to Hartington this Saturday, Oct. 10 for volleyball tournament action as our Panthers take on Winside at 10 a.m. 🏐🐾

🎃 A Fun Fall Field Trip to Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch! Our 1st and 2nd graders had a wonderful time on their field trip today to Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch in Norfolk! The students enjoyed a beautiful fall day filled with fun, laughter, and hands-on activities. From exploring the pumpkin patch to enjoying all the fall-themed attractions, our students had the opportunity to learn, play, and make special memories with their classmates and teachers. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the season and enjoy some time together outside of the classroom! A big thank-you to Poppy’s Pumpkin Patch and to all of our teachers, staff, and chaperones who helped make today such a fun and memorable experience for our students! 🎃🍂🧡

The East Husker Conference Volleyball Tournament kicks off next week! The Lady Panthers face North Bend in the first round on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. in Clarkson.

That’s a first. I had the pleasure of escorting three of our students to the Scribner-Snyder FFA Range Judging Contest today. This was quite an event and quite an experience. I counted at least twenty schools represented and I am guessing around three hundred kids. Agriculture Education is thriving in Nebraska.

The Panthers go 2-0 on the evening as they take down TCNE in a barnburner and the Walthill in the closing match. Great job ladies. Onward we go.

Relevant learning takes place with specific planning sometimes. Mr. Hilsinger and his classes are working with Mr. Kai to upgrade the throwing area for track. They are currently leveling, setting forms, and will be pouring concrete for throwing surfaces. This has been in the works for a long time. It's great when students are at the middle of such projects.

Marvel Rivals anyone? Our Esports team took on Franklin in their continued Quest for the Cup. If you have not taken the time to watch these keyboard kings in action, then you are truly missing out. They are very, very, good. They will be doing some great things with technology later in life. You can count on it.

JH Football battled Wakefield today. The coaches and players showed true Panthers grit to the very end. Great effort gentlemen. We are getting better and they were having fun.

The Panther Cross-Country Team has excelled this season. The thing about this sport is that it is an individual sport as well as a team sport. It's all about getting better and they are doing that. Thank you Coach Hansen for the pictures.
