"I’m a bit late highlighting the FFA trip to the National Convention in Indianapolis, but what an experience they had!" -- Mrs.Soll The purpose of the trip is to connect with other FFA chapters from all across the country. They learn leadership skills, speaking skills, and how to communicate with business leaders from all over the globe. There are opportunities to see a bit of the countryside and tour agribusinesses. Colleges from all over the US have recruiting booths including the Armed Forces. Students also participated in community service projects while meeting others. I am proud to say that a couple student from our chapter received pins for taking their FFA values above and beyond. They were recognized for these citizenship activities by staff working at the convention. Last but not least, they made some lasting friendships on the Cuming County bus and had quite a bit of fun!
