Thank you ,Mrs.Tietz, for showing preschool just how fun Kindergarten will be.

Our Agronomy class has been tracking soil temperatures this spring. These fields were within a couple miles of the school. Students compared the temperature of no-till to tilled soil in both corn and soybeans. They also wanted to compare it to a sod field. We discussed the insulating that results from crop cover and the benefits of holding the soil and moisture in place on windy days. The temperatures were taken by each student in each field at 6 inches and averaged for the field.
This chart was made by Nick Buchholz.
