B-R's K–2 students had a wonderful time celebrating the birthday of Dr. Seuss yesterday!
Students enjoyed reading their favorite Dr. Seuss books with a family member or special friend. From silly rhymes to tongue-twisting tales, there were smiles, laughter, and lots of joyful reading happening throughout our classrooms, hallways and cafeteria.
Sharing stories together is one of the best ways to build a love of reading, and today was a perfect reminder of how fun books can be.

Bancroft-Rosalie JAG students represented our school well yesterday at the Nebraska State Jobs for America's Graduates Career Development Conference held at the Hilton Omaha.
Ten B-R students stepped up to compete in four different events, showing leadership, preparation, and the willingness to challenge themselves outside their comfort zones.
Competitors included:
🔹 Outstanding Chapter Team: Kenidee McClain, Aaliyah Soll, Tabby Punke
🔹 Career Preparation: Madilyn Brichacek
🔹 Employability Skills: Jaden Browning, Kendra Beaudette, Aizley Dean, Tabby Punke
🔹 Financial Literacy: Daltyn Hansen, Tucker Siebrandts (High School) and Cason Novak (Middle School)
A special congratulations to B-R senior Tabby Punke, who serves as a JAG Nebraska State Officer Alternate and was selected as one of only two National Officer Voting Delegates. She will represent Nebraska at the National Leadership Academy in Salt Lake City this spring!
Students also had the opportunity to hear from special guest speaker, Governor Jim Pillen.
The B-R boys basketball team has earned the opportunity to host a district final matchup vs Wynot, scheduled for Tues, March 3, 7:00 p.m.

Bancroft-Rosalie will have a 2 hour late start today. Highways are fine but parking lots need to be cleaned.
The Sub-district girls basketball game vs Cedar Catholic tonight has been moved up to 6:00 pm.
Bancroft-Rosalie School is closed today. There is an odor in the elementary. No decision yet on basketball games tonight.
