I was born and raised just 10 miles up the road in Pender. I graduated from high school in 1974. After working a few years, I graduated from Wayne State College in 1981 with degrees in Elementary and Special Education. I earned my Master's in Education from Wayne State in December of 1999. I started teaching 5th grade at Bancroft in the fall of 1981. The next year, when Bancroft and Rosalie consolidated, I started the K-12 Special Education program for B-R. I taught 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade Social Studies and Resource classes. I also enjoyed being the cheerleading sponsor for many years. I have spent the last several years as the 7-12 Resource teacher and senior class sponsor. You can find me at the scorers' table during volleyball and basketball seasons. My husband, Lonny, and I live in Bancroft, and he works for the local feedlot. We have 2 children. Both are B-R alumni, Jody (97) and Brian (2000). God has blessed us with 5 awesome grandchildren to enjoy watching as they continue to grow.
