The sophomores were making DNA in Biology class. It took about one period to make. There is more than 40 pages of DNA in our bodies! They used Dawn soap, alcohol, and wheat germs. Then they had to mix it and let it set for 5 minutes. Then if you would of looked at the top of the beaker there was white stringy stuff, which was pretty gross! They had to take it out and lay it on a paper towel and describe what it looked like. It looked like saliva or mucus. They had did this for explaining what DNA looks like and how much DNA we have in our bodies.
