B-R pays tribute to veterans
On Veterans Day, students and staff at Bancroft-Rosalie spent the afternoon at the annual Veterans Day program held at the school.
In attendance for the program were members of the American Legion Post #191. Army Sergeant Anthony Andrade of Bancroft was the speaker.
Other speakers included principal Mike Sjuts, Father Paul Ortmeier and senior Austin Bruning, who was the school's state representative at Boys State this summer. He read the story behind the origin of Taps before it was performed by students Zach Bridges and Aaron Ras.
