This year's homecoming is drawing to a close, but not before tonight's football game against Winside and Saturday night's annual homecoming dance at the school from 9 p.m.-12 a.m.
Dress-up days were as follows: Monday was Destination Day, Tuesday was Character Day, Wednesday was Color Day, Thursday was Traitor Day and Friday was Spirit Day. On Wednesday, we were in the presence of a few celebrities, including Phil Robertson from "Duck Dynasty" and Nebraska native Larry the Cable Guy.
The homecoming king and queen were crowed during Wednesday night's pep rally at the football field. Reigning as royalty this year are king Austin Bruning and queen Lauren Zuhlke. Other senior attendants were Mario Aldrich, Chase Bonsall, Kassidi Browning and Vanessa Madrid. Underclassmen attendants were freshmen Devon Darnell and Paige Peters, sophomores Kenyan Lovejoy and Teagan Steinmeyer and juniors Tanner Bonneau and Tess Nottlemann.
