Huskers vs. Jayhawks

Hail Varsity, lots and lots of red, and woman’s basketball? This sounds like a Nebraska Woman’s Basketball game to me, how about you? On Wednesday, March 3rd, the Lady Panthers and 8th grade basketball team took a trip down to Lincoln to watch the #3 Lady Huskers. The Lady Huskers took on the Kansas Jayhawks, defeating them with a great score of 77-52. The basketball team seemed to have a great time in Lincoln together. This was a good way for the basketball to come together and have some team bonding to prepare for next years season.
Afterwards Coach Peters and about 5 other girls from the team and 3 student managers were able to spot Tommie Frazier, one of Nebraska’s greatest football quarterbacks who graduated in 1995. They were also able to get a picture taken with him. The Lady Panthers and coaches had a great time and hope to do it again.
