Schooling from home
What a few weeks it has been!
With students now doing school work at home, Dr. Cerny has stated, “I think we have reached a point where there should be no barriers to students accessing education.”
We have had opportunities that have been huge successes to help each child strive for growth and excellence. Internet is one of the great opportunities that has been provided to 14 families during the last two weeks.
On top of internet being provided for families, an online tutoring program for students is now being finalized. This tutoring program is designed to help students who need extra guidance and to help them stay up-to-date on their assignments.
Zoom and Canvas conferencing have been a huge part for how staff have been making it possible to stay in contact with students and parents/guardians. Seeing students through zoom and canvas conferencing has brought a lot of joy to the staff as we continue to miss the students daily.
