School supply list released

We all knew it was coming, and now it's less than a month away. I'm talking about the start of the coming 2018-19 school year.

In anticipation of the start of the new year, the school administration has released the supply list for students in preschool and kindergarten through sixth grade. Attached are copies of those supply lists.

Preschool

Elementary

Important dates in the weeks ahead include the Jump Start Summer School program that begins on July 23 and runs through Aug. 9. Students will meet Monday through Thursday from 8:15 to 11:45 a.m. Fall sports practices begin Aug. 6, and band camp will be Aug. 6, 8 and 10 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. @ Lyons-Decatur. A bus from Bancroft will leave @ 12 p.m.

Parents/guardians and 7-12 students must attend the Code of Conduct/Concussion Protocol/Computer Checkout meeting on Aug. 7 @ 7:30 p.m. For elementary students, the Title meeting/open house/iPad checkout is Aug. 13 at 6 p.m.

Staff workdays are Aug. 13 and 14, and the official start of the school year begins on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
