Preschoolers get "wacky"
We just LOVE to Read Across America with Dr. Seuss! We had so much fun dressing up, reading stories and even eating green eggs and ham.
During the week, we dressed up in blue and red for Red Fish, Blue Fish, in stripes and/or wore a crazy hat and read Cat in the Hat. We got wacky on Wednesday and wore our clothes backwards, mismatched and inside out. Everyone loved looking for the silly pictures in Wacky Wednesday. To finish out the week, we read Green Eggs and Ham and wore green and had green eggs and ham for snack (vanilla pudding with green food coloring and vanilla wafers) and then came to school in our pajamas/comfy clothes.
We spent the week incorporating Dr. Seuss into our math, fine motor skills and letters/sounds.
