Library stays busy
The elementary students have been busy checking out books either for reading or being read to, and the most popular subject books have been about animals, especially farm related.
The K-2 students are able to sit quietly and listen to a short story after their books have been checked in and out. While reading the story, questions are asked on the story, word meanings and parts of a book.
Third and fourth graders have increased their interest skills over the year, which would include longer chapters, more thought in the scheme and a few well-know classics. Can you remember a favorite title when you were their age?
The fifth and six graders are currently discovering either their mapping skills by reading a state map or using the map answer key and ways to determine a website's reliability and how to spot fake news.
