Post-its welcome students
As part of the school's PBIS program, teachers and staff wrote inspirational post-its to all the students in elementary, junior high and senior high welcoming them to the 2017-18 school year. That's close to 300 notes, if you're counting.
The school has been participating in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) for the past six years. One Wednesday each month, students get out at 2 p.m., so staff can meet, discuss and plan around PBIS, including student assemblies.
