Student gets personal look at career

As part of her Introduction to Health Sciences class, junior Kailey Irwin got some firsthand experience at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point.

The semester-long class is exploratory and looks at various health care careers. As part of the course, Irwin shadowed different departments within the hospital, including observing a surgery and joint replacement. Irwin also completed various projects and assignments to help her explore the many options in the health care field.
