Students complete driver's ed class
School wasn't out for very long for the summer before 15 students returned to take part in the annual driver's education class held at Bancroft-Rosalie.
The instructional part of the course began May 23 and ran through May 27. Instructor was Roxanne Raasch of Bancroft.
During the week, students had an opportunity to see the consequences of being impaired courtesy of goggles from the Cuming County Sheriff's Office. While wearing the goggles, the students tried to walk in a straight line, which they found hard to do. The week ended with a written test.
You may have seen some of the students out this summer driving the school's silver van marked with a yellow "School Students" sign fulfilling the driving portion of the course.
