Art students show talent again this year
PE classes working hard, too

"I have seen great improvement on a majority of the Art I students' artwork, and several Advanced Art students have completed some projects that will do well in art competitions," said art instructor Cory Meyer. The Advanced Art students are working on a wide variety of artwork while the Art I students are learning to recognize negative spaces while drawing their projects.
The Advanced Physical Education class began the year off learning how to play golf. The class did go golfing at Twin Creeks in Pender.
They had a great time, and it was a first for many of the students," Meyer said.
The weightlifting has been great in both the Advanced and Freshmen PE classes.
"It's nice to see that most of the students are self-motivated, know what they need to do and are showing big improvements in the bench max."
