20 Kindergarteners adapting to school all day
We are now in our third week of school here at Bancroft-Rosalie, and 20 kindergarteners are adjusting well to being in school all day. The class has an even split of boys and girls at 10 each.
"The class is excited that this year they get to go to PE, music, art, computers, library and guidance," said kindergarten teacher Mrs. Patty Wegner. "Another favorite is Show and Tell every Friday."
On Friday, Sept. 11, the students will celebrate Grandparents' Day at 2:45 p.m., and grandparents, parents and friends are invited for the special activities. The group's field trip will be Friday, Oct. 2, at Masters Hand Candles in Tekamah in the morning and Harvest Moon Pumpkin Patch in Oakland in the afternoon.
"The kindergarten class has two amazing paras, Mrs. Terri Buck and Mrs. Anna Petersen, and we look forward to an awesome year."
