B-R makes Newsweek's list of Top High Schools
For its dedication and success in college preparedness and excellent service to both students and parents, Bancroft-Rosalie Jr./Sr. High School has been named to Newsweek’s coveted 2015 list of America’s Top High Schools.
“The well-deserved inclusion is not only a great honor, it’s also a significant advantage to boost staff morale, recruit students and encourage parent and alumni fundraising,” said sales director Robyn Roberts.
According to the magazine, Newsweek’s “Beating the Odds” list identifies schools that do an excellent job of preparing students for college while overcoming the obstacles posed by students at an economic disadvantage.
At #253, B-R was one of six schools in Nebraska to make the list, joining Wausa High School at #126, Gordon-Rushville High School at #183, Syracuse High School at #243, Plainview Seconary School at #425 and Loup City High School at #487.
