8th Graders learn all about money
During the last quarter of the school year, eighth graders at Bancroft-Rosalie took a class called "Financial Literacy" and learned about insurance, credit and debit cards, budgets and other life skills.
So taking a day off from school to attend a workshop called “Real World Money” at Northeast Community College in Norfolk and sponsored by UNL wasn’t really a day off. Instead, it was a day of hands-on experience learning about budgets and credit and debit cards along with B-R instructor Mrs. Michelle Hennig.
