Concerts are memorable

On Monday evening, teachers, staff, parents and grandparents packed the school auditorium for the annual elementary and junior high and senior high holiday concerts.

The little ones were up first with performances by preschoolers all the way up to sixth graders. Popular songs included Jingle Bell Rock, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. Moments that remain unforgettable include a sixth grader who couldn't help but get a little lively to the song, "Jingle Bell Rock," to the amusement of the crowd (many may not have known that his colorful tie was also musical) and a very serious performance by the kindergarteners of "Let It Go." (To be honest, I think any class could have sung that song by heart!)

An hour later, the junior high and senior high students took to the stage with performances by the choir and band. Stepping up to the microphone for vocal solos were Lauren Ahlers, Olivia Osborne, sister duo Tess and Olivia Nottlemann and Damion Otteman on guitar. Band solos were performed by Joe Lonewolf and Chase Bonsall and Aaron Ras.
