'Best drive since very first one in 2008'

Earlier this week, the B-R school hosted the LifeServe Blood Center blood drive. And it was a successful one at that.

"Wow! This was the best drive your school has had since your very first one in September of 2008," said territory representative Alex Wiggs.

In all, 18 people registered with 16 successful donations and 19 units of blood collected. Six people donated for the very first time, including staff members, students and community members.

"These donations will save up to 48 lives," Wiggs said.

The next drive at the school is scheduled for Jan. 12 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
