Assembly to bring reptiles up close & personal
Did you know that a chameleon's tongue is twice the length of its body, an iguana can stay under water for 28 minutes and snakes are immune to their own poison?
Well, you're going to find out a lot more about reptiles at Tuesday's assembly "Scales and Tales," when Henry Michaloski aka The Nature Boy presents the educational program about the scaled, cold-blooded friends. He has more than 23 years and 6,400 audiences on his resume as he talks to students and teachers about reptiles' survival skills and adaptations of the live, kid-friendly creatures.
The 45-minute program designed specifically for students will be both informative and humorous.
