Seniors to retire robes during NHS ceremony
National Honor Society induction will take place during the Fine Arts Banquet on Thursday, May 1.
Seniors who are two-year members will be recognized and lead the ceremony. Juniors who are new will be inducted into the Bancroft-Rosalie Chapter of NHS. Parents or family sponsors of all NHS members are invited to attend the banquet for this recognition.
Those whose children will be newly inducted will be asked to assist their child with putting on their robe and pinning on the society pin. Custom has been that the student designates one parent or chosen adult to assist with the robe and another parent or chosen adult to assist with the pinning. Whatever the student and family members decide to be meaningful for them is definitely fine.
The following seniors are two-year members: Auston Darnell, Caleb Hansen, Shelby Ostrand, Preston Peters, Amanda Paige Raasch, Nicholas Sjuts, Aaron Steichen and Allie Vogt. The following juniors will be inducted: Derek Ahlers, Kylita Gomez, Ian Nottlemann, Suzanne Ras, Jerrica Tietz, Easton Weborg and Brianna Wegner. These 15 students will be recognized for their outstanding contributions in the areas of character, leadership, scholarship and service.
