District Music Contest Results

Friday, April 23, 2010 the Bancroft-Rosalie Panther Music Department attended District Music Contest that was held in South Sioux City, NE. The music department had a fantastic day, bringing home all superior (I) and excellent (II) ratings.
Instrumental music department results:
Alto/Tenor Sax duet (Jasmine G. & Blair N.)-I
Baritone/Snare Drum Duet (Connor B. & Mitchell W.)-II

Mr. Jordan commented, "It was a fine day for the music department. I am very proud of our students and the efforts they put forth at music contest. A big thank you to the seniors; your leadership is what helped carry the large groups through their excellent performances. The HS Choir continues to improve each year. The senior class has never received a rating below 'excellent' during their HS band years. I'd also like to thank JH students Ryan Wellman and Brianna Wegner for assisting the trumpet section by playing with the concert band."
