Panthers attend the WSC track meet!

On Tuesday April 13th the Bancroft-Rosalie track team attended the WSC Outdoor Invite. The meet started off with field events with Jessica T. taking 3rd in the discus throwing 90 feet 1 inch behind her Hammer S took 15th and Jennifer S. took 20th . Tarita K. took 4th in shot put throwing 32 feet 2 inches, behind her Hammer S. took 6th. Kalene A. jumped 15 feet 6 inches to take 4th in the long jump. Taylor O. got 9th. For high jump Jade F. took home 4th jumping 4 feet 6 inches behind her Oliva N. tied for 8th. To start off with the running events the 4X8 relay of Makala M., Bryna F., Alexa R., and Carly T., took home 3rd with a time of 11 minutes and 48 seconds. Kalene A. took 3rd in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13 seconds, behind her Taylor O. got 6th. For the girls 1 mile Bryna F. took 4th for the Panthers with a time of 6 minutes and 39 seconds. Paige T. took 8th 1 mile. In the girls 4X1 Taylor O., Makala M., Jessica T., and Carly T., took home 2nd with a time of 55.10 seconds. In the 400 meter dash Jessica T. took 6th. For the 300 meter hurdles Kalene A. took 1st with a time of 49.90. In the 800 Makala M. took 2nd running a time of 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Teammate Carly T. took 5th. In the 200 Kalene A. ended up 2nd with a time of 28 seconds and behind her Taylor O. took 6th. In the 2 mile Paige T. got 6th and Alexa R. got 7th. For the 4X4 relay the Panthers team of Jessica T., Bryna F., Makala M., and Carly T., took 4th running it in 4 minutes and 46 seconds. Over all the Lady Panthers took home 3rd place with 79 points.
For the boys Connor B. took home 4th in long jump jumping 20 feet 4 inches. Mitchell W. got 13th in discus. Connor B. also took 2nd in high jump jumping 6 feet. For the 100 meter dash Matt S. took 6th with a time of 11.6 with Aaron B. finishing right behind him. In the 4X1 relay, Matt S. Connor B., Aaron B., and Dalton W., took 5th with a time of 47.30. In the 400 meter dash Connor B. took 2nd with a time of 54.60 and Aaron B. finished 3rd. In the 300 meter hurdles Matt S. took 2nd with a time of 43.90. Mitchell H. took 7th in the 800 meter run. For the 200 meter dash Aaron B. took 7th and Dalton W. tied for 8th. Over al the Panthers finished 7th. The Bancroft-Rosalie track team’s next meet is Saturday April 17th at the Wisner-Pilger track.
