The Art II and Art III classes are using a technique called pointillism. What is pointillism? Pointillism is using dots or circles to make creative pictures. Georges Seurat discovered this technique in 1886. These are some of the people that are using the technique: Jessica T. is drawing a turtle, Whitney L. is drawing an elephant eye, Paige T. is drawing an elephant, Matthew W. is drawing a rhino, and Kierstan L. is drawing a wolf. I asked Mr. Meyer what the Art I people are doing and his answer was that the Art I students are getting to experience the privileged of doing scratch boards. These are some of the people doing scratch boards:Cameron S. is drawing the Bellagio Hotel, Jade F. is drawing trees, and Jalen F. is drawing a reflective pool. Keep working hard!
