HS Choir and JH/HS Band Trip to Chicago

On Wednesday, May 27th just before the clock stuck midnight, the Bancroft-Rosalie 7-12 band and 9-12 choir boarded two chartered busses to head to Chicago for their music trip. The HS Choir were featured performers over the noon hour at Sears Tower on Friday, May 29th and the JH/HS Band were the featured band for opening ceremonies at the Six Flags Amusement Park on Saturday, May 30th.
Some of the stops made on the trip included Adler Planetarium, the Buckingham fountain in Grant’s Park, Ed Debevics, Navy Pier, Medieval Times, Sears Tower, Soldier Field, Lincoln Park Zoo, Millennium Park, and Six Flags Great America.This educational trip was sponsored by the efforts of the Bancroft-Rosalie Fine Arts Boosters and music department students. It is a highly valued educational event and opportunity. Mr. Jordan and the students want to send out appreciation to the boosters, community and school patrons for supporting this special trip event that takes place once every three years.
