Preschoolers work on Nursery Rhymes

by Cassie Bassett

November 13, 2008

This week preschool are learning about nursery rhymes. There are over 50 nursery rhymes so there’s a lot to learn. Nursery rhymes that the preschool will learn this week include Little Boy Blue, Three Little Kittens, Wee Willie Winkie, Jack Be Nimble, and The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe. For the nursery rhyme The Three Little Kittens preschoolers made mittens and then had fun hiding them.  Preschool are learning about fiction and nonfiction stories. They are acting out stories and telling them to others. The letter of the week is Aa.
