KMEG 14 reveals sports top five teams

KMEG 14 is counting down the top 5 Siouxland teams during the week of April 28 through May2. The Lady Panthers Basketball team will be featured as one of these five teams. On Monday, they revealed the South Sioux City Lady Cardinals as team #5; and on Tuesday, they revealed the Wakefield Trojans Football as team #4. A new team is revealed each night with #1 on Friday night. Be sure to check out Kmeg.com for highlights of the teams named so far. On Friday, a public poll on the site will open. You can vote for your favorite of the five Siouxland Teams. Place your vote for the Lady Panthers and pass the word along.
Next week, May 5th-9th, KMEG is counting down to the top 5 female athletes for the year following the same format as the teams. The will follow with the top 5 male athletes. On the May 19th-21st, they are revealing the top 3 games of the year. The final countdown revealing will be for the top five plays of this year. They will reveal these plays on Thursday, May 22.
